Children are a vital part of community life at Royal Redeemer. We love to see kids developing friendships that last through the teen years and a faith relationship with Jesus Christ that lasts into eternity.  All our programs and events aim to support that growth in the early years while faith is still being shaped.

By age 12, most children have developed beliefs about God, themselves, and the world around them that will carry into adulthood.  We want those beliefs to be shaped by the truth found in God's Word.

Kids Kount is our weekly children's program offered during each of our three weekend worship services.  See below for more information.

Other events and programs for children include Vacation Bible Camp (June), Start Smart Baseball Camp (August), and a Christmas pageant (December).  See below for more information.

KIDS KOUNT WEEKEND CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
(Our version of Sunday School)

Kids Kount is a high-energy event designed to be fun, to build friendships, and to grow in faith as children experience the love of God in Jesus.

For grades 1-4, Kids Kount creates unforgettable learning experiences that capture the adventure of a living faith relationship with Jesus that is so much more than sitting quietly while adults talk at you – Kids need to do!   Kids learn to apply their faith to everyday situations and make a difference.

For ages 3 thru Kindergarten, kids do what they love most – make crafts, act out dramas, create art, sing, taste yummy snacks, engage with puppets, and play games as they learn about Jesus and feel His love.

During the school year we offer Kids Kount during all three worship services.  Children begin the hour by worshipping in the sanctuary with their family.  About 15 minutes into the service, the kids are led to their classrooms where adult volunteers welcome them.

Sewing Basics Part 1

Class Begins January 9, 2012

Time:  4:00-6:30pm

This class is for kids ages 8 and up.  All supplies for projects are included in the cost of the class.  There will be 8 classes and each class costs $15.00 for a total of $120.00.  There are a limited number of scholarships available - if you would like to discuss a scholarship please contact Brenda Swigert at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (June)
Each summer Royal Redeemer offers a vacation bible school.  Kids get to sing, play, and learn about Christ. 

START SMART PRESCHOOL BASEBALL CAMP (August) This week-long camp (one hour each evening) provides the opportunity for parents and young children to spend time together learning the fundamentals of America's favorite sport. Coaches show parents how to teach their children. A sport-related devotion at the end of each session renews hearts in God's promises.

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT Each winter our Royal Redeemer kids (preschool through fifth grade) are invited to participate in a fun and entertaining musical celebrating the birth of our King.

Family Events
Throughout the year we offer family events like the bonfire and maze at Neiderman Farm, movie nights, family game nights, and church picnics.
