ROYAL REDEEMER HOSTS COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS:

LSO FAM JAM PARADE (last Saturday in April) Our partnership with the Lakota Sports Organization provides us with the opportunity to meet and serve the hundreds of families that participate in LSO's Opening Day baseball & softball parade each year. The parade begins at Lakota East High School and culminates in our parking lot, where we provide games, refreshments, and an exhibit by the Reds Hall of Fame museum. Mascots from the Cincinnati Reds, Dayton Dragons, and UC Bearcats are on hand for pictures with the children (and adults).

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (June) Each year more than half of the (140) children who attend our VBS program are from the surrounding community. This week long program is filled with music, games, and Bible stories, bringing the love of Jesus home to young hearts.

START SMART PRESCHOOL BASEBALL CAMP (August) This week-long camp (one hour each evening) provides the opportunity for parents and young children to spend time together learning the fundamentals of America's favorite sport. Coaches show parents how to teach their children. A sport-related devotion at the end of each session renews hearts in God's promises.

OPERATION INVITE (December) In the weeks before Christmas, our entire congregation mobilizes to invite our neighbors to worship with us. We meet new friends as over 6,000 door hangers are distributed in our neighborhoods.

Community Missions

ROYAL REDEEMER SUPPORTS COMMUNITY MISSIONS:

SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM (one week in June,July,August) We gather to pack and deliver healthy lunches to over 100 children who participate in the Monroe school lunch program during the school year. REACH OUT LAKOTA Congregation members donate of food, clothing, and dollars to support this local food and clothing bank. In December, a giving tree enables us to provide gifts for needy children.

COMMUNITY PREGNANCY CENTER OF MIDDLETOWN Our preschool families partner each December to provide new and gently used items for young families in need.

National and World Outreach

ROYAL REDEEMER SUPPORTS LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND WORLD OUTREACH AND MISSIONS:

BEATTYVILLE MISSION TRIP (week of July 15, 2012) We will travel to beautiful Beattyville, KY, where we will stay at Kentucky Cornerstone Mission and work on projects for a local family. OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD (November) Congregation members pack shoeboxes with basic necessities and toys that are then distributed to children around the world.

THE ESALA FAMILY Royal Redeemer provides ongoing financial support to the family Pastor Nathan and Sarah Esala. Pastor Esala is a missionary with Lutheran Bible Translators, serving in Ghana, Africa on a long-term project to translate the Bible into the Komba language.

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF We partner with LWR to help people around the world grow food, improve health, strengthen communities, end conflict, and build livelihoods.

THE OHIO DISTRICT LCMS We partner with our church body to support the ministry of Lutheran congregations in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia.

THE CINCINNATI FEDERATION OF LUTHERAN CHURCHES We partner with other Lutheran congregations in the greater Cincinnati area to provide chaplains in local hospitals, on-campus ministry to local college students and parish nurse training.
