Congratulations to you both on your decision to get married, and choosing to be married in a Lutheran Church.

Non-Member Wedding Information:

1.  Is your church available for weddings?
Yes, according to building availability.  All couples married at Royal Redeemer are required to submit a letter verifying they have participated in premarital counseling with a pastor or certified counselor.

2.  How do I book a date?

3.  What will it cost me?
Please see the form below for this information.  Our Wedding Facilitator will be happy to go over any questions you may have.

4.  Will the Pastor marry couples outside of the church?
Pastor Joel does not normally conduct weddings outside of the congregation.

5.  Can we hold our reception at the church?
Our facility is currently unable to accommodate receptions.

6.  Can we throw rice, bird seed, or something similar?
Bubbles are OK.  Rice and bird seed attract the large wild geese population to our door and they can make the parking very messy.

7.  What about a pianist or organist?
You may request one of our musicians to play for your wedding.  The charge for their service is $100.  This covers the rehearsal, prelude to the wedding, and wedding service.

8.  What will the sound technician do?
A sound technician will coordinate microphones and/or recorded music.  The charge for their service is $100.  This covers the rehearsal, and wedding service.

9.  What can I expect from the wedding facilitator?

Prior to wedding:

• Create packet of information to help in wedding planning.
• Notify Lakota Sports Organization of parking restrictions.
• Receive a letter from an ordained pastor or counseling agency confirming that they have had premarital counseling.
• Contact and reserve janitor.

Rehearsal:

• Open and prepare the building for the rehearsal.
• Supervise the building during the rehearsal and answer questions that arise.
• Lock the building following rehearsal.

Wedding Day:

• Unlock the building for church decorating.
• Set up classroom(s) for dressing rooms.

10.  What can I expect of the janitor?

• Building and grounds cleanup after the wedding.
• Wedding party is responsible for removal of flowers and candelabras

• $100 deposit required with balance due day of wedding
• No bird seed, rice, or other similar materials may be thrown on the Church property
