We are pleased to announce we will be re-opening worship to the congregation and community on Sunday, June 28, 9am Traditional and 11am Contemporary. An hour between the services will give us the time we need to assure the building is clean and ready.
Alternate weekday services will be offered, a contemporary service on Tuesday evening at 7pm and a traditional service on Thursday at noon. Our intent with these weekday services is to replicate as closely as possible your Sunday morning worship experience.
Streaming of our Sunday services is expected to continue as a regular feature of our worship offerings.
In the intervening weeks we will be working with our worship leaders and volunteers to prepare for in-person worship.
We are still working to finalize some of the details you might expect as you come to worship and will be communicating those to you as the time draws near.
We eagerly anticipate being together in worship again and are deeply grateful for your patience and support during this time.
Our staff put together a high-level chart with an overview of our re-opening plans. This plan has been reviewed and edited by a task team of Royal Redeemer members selected to represent various demographics of our congregation, as well as by our Board of Servant Leaders.
To determine conditions for re-opening, we are looking primarily at number of Covid cases in Butler & Warren counties, factoring in testing when we are able (more testing typically results in more cases discovered). We are also looking at the number of hospitalizations in Butler and Warren counties. You can see a chart of the raw numbers at the bottom of the attached document. These numbers, even for past days, continue to change as the state and local health agencies receive reports from health care providers.
